I teach IB English Language and Literature, mainly to students who need sharper Paper 1 analysis and more precise IO planning. My lessons are fairly direct: we read the extract closely, build a defensible argument, then edit the wording until it sounds like the student’s own work. I also help with HL essay choices, especially when students are stuck between broad themes and a workable line of inquiry.

I’m an IB English tutor with a soft spot for poetry and the slightly messy texts students often avoid. I’ve worked with Diploma students who were aiming for 5s as well as those chasing 7s, so I tend to adjust the pace quite a bit.
